Curt Anderson
Curt traveled the world as a professional magician for most of his adult life. After returning to finish his degree during the COVID pandemic, obtaining his bachelor’s in 2021 and master’s degrees in 2023, Curt is now working on his PhD. His field of study has been human communication with a focus on deception and social influence. As a magician, Curt performed deception around the world. As an academic, Curt has authored papers, lectured, and presented on deception and influence. He has become an expert in deception by personal life experience and through his studies under some of the world’s foremost authorities on the subject. Curt’s insight through personal experience and his academic pursuits give him a one-of-a-kind mastery of deception. He understands how deception is created, used, and detected at a world-class level.
